Range G5-A3 The role of Annie is one of the most demanding roles for a young performer in musical theatre. A street-wise orphan, Annie is spunky and friendly, with a big heart and a big voice. This young performer must have a strong, clear belt voice, with excellent pitch and vocal control. Must have the ability to convey optimism, resilience, and warmth despite hardship, and must posess innate comic timing, as Annie has plenty of witty, spunky lines.

The Annie Company is one of the most fun groups of performers in any musical, portraying an endless variety of characters, including the domestic staff at the Warbucks mansion, residents of Hooverville, NYC denizens, Roosevelt's cabinet at the White House, etc. Including Drake, Mrs. Pugh, Mrs. Greer, Cecille, Annette, the Star-to-Be, the Boylan Sisters and more. Lots of solo lines and special moments. Performers must have strong voices and move well.
