Kids and Teens Needed for "Finding Neverland" Show

Seeking children ages 8 and up for the "Finding Neverland" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: J.M. Barrie, a struggling playwright, encounters a widowed mother, Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, and her four sons in Kensington Park. As Barrie befriends the family, he is inspired by their adventures, particularly Peter, who is reluctant to play due to his grief. Barrie helps him learn to play again and inspires him to create a new art form: children's theatre. But who will pay to see a play about children? Who will play these characters? And how will they make Peter Pan fly? Additional info: Auditioners should prepare a one-minute song to sing in the style of the show or from it, with a karaoke track. There will also be a dance audition, so be prepared to move and bring jazz shoes or dance sneakers. Finding Neverland will be performed November 6-8 and 13-15 at the Havre de Grace Opera House. Rehearsals will begin in early August and will be on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday evenings in Bel Air. Not everyone will be called to every rehearsal. There will be a live dog in the show.
