"Winnie the Pooh KIDS" Seeks Boys and Girls

Kids ages 5-12 are welcome to audition for "Winnie the Pooh KIDS". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship, and, of course... sharing snacks. Filled with all their favorite characters, Disney's Winnie the Pooh KIDS is a popular show for children to perform. There is ample opportunity to add a large ensemble and fill your stage with as many creatures of the Hundred Acre Wood as possible. Additional info: WHAT TO PREP: Please prepare 16-32 bars from a musical song (about 60-90 seconds). Bring an accompaniment track on a smartphone/tablet / MP3 player. No piano accompanist is provided. Wear clothing and footwear appropriate for a dance audition. For the last portion of auditions, we will sing music and read scenes from the show. Actors should stay for the duration of auditions. Auditions are closed to parents and anyone not auditioning. Must register on the Airtable and include a headshot. REHEARSALS: 40 HOURS Tuesdays from 5:30-8 pm: August 18th, 25th. September 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, October 6th, 13th Saturday from 2:30-7:30 pm: August 29th TECH: OCTOBER 17th 2:30-7:30 pm October 20th-22nd from 5:30-8:30 pm 4 SHOWS October 23rd at 7:30 pm October 24th at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm October 25th at 2:30 pm Note that a participation fee will be applied.
