The boys hatch one final plan, putting their whole summer at risk. They use Linda’s own laws to send her to jail, and finally go fishing. Casting for two young male actors for the lead roles of the brothers Tristin (Male, pre-teen) and Devon (Male, pre-teen). Character Sides attached below.

2 roles

TristinMale12-16 y.o.White / Caucasian

(Male, pre-teen) The kid who’d do anything for a thrill. He’s done it all by the ripe age of pre-teen, skateboarding, basketball, even ultimate frisbee. Tristin moves through the world with confidence, derived from his general talent and lacking ambition. He goes fishing on a whim, but doubles down because his surroundings told him no. He’ll get what he sees as fair, and the rules need not apply. But he’s still a kid, and his self assuredness only stretches as tall as he does.

DevonMale12-16 y.o.White / Caucasian

(Male, pre-teen) Meek but metered, Devon rarely seeks to stand out unless nature is involved. Younger sibling to Tristin, all Devon had to do to get by unnoticed was score well on tests and keep his head down. Yet he follows Tristin more often than not, because undeniably he likes Tristin, even though he wouldn’t say it. Devon has a strong sense of justice, also stirred by his relation to Tristin, seeing him get away with the impossible.
