Scare Actors Needed for 2026 Halloween Season

Casting call for scare actors for the 2026 Halloween season. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: Seasonal scare actors (ages 16+) may be eligible for a nightly performance stipend of $20–$30 per event night, based on experience, performance, reliability, and assigned role. While this is not a traditional hourly position, it is our way of recognizing the dedication and hard work of our cast. Additional info: Individuals under 16 are welcome to volunteer with parental approval and will not be eligible for compensation. All cast and crew members receive water and dinner on event nights, and the directors host cast gatherings and appreciation events throughout the year as a thank-you for helping bring our haunt to life. Requirements for all positions Paid scare actors must be at least 16 years old and pass a background check. Volunteer opportunities may be available for younger participants with parental approval. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign all required waivers and paperwork. Must maintain a positive attitude, be dependable, and work well as part of a team. Must be willing to take direction, adapt to changing situations, and contribute to a safe and enjoyable environment. Must have reliable transportation to and from rehearsals and event nights. Must be able to perform the essential duties of the role, which may include standing and/or walking for extended periods, navigating uneven terrain, crouching, jumping, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in low-light environments.
