Singing Audition for "Big The Musical"
Casting kids ages 10 and up for "Big The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: All roles receive a $500 rehearsal stipend and a per-show rate between $55 and $70. Swings receive a $500 rehearsal stipend and a $100-per-week on-call stipend for the run, plus a $70-per-show rate for any shows they cover. (Sorry, but there are no AEA/Equity contracts available for this production.) Vocal Range: Tenor (F3 – G5) Dance: Dancer Innocent, funny, and obsessed with video games and Cynthia. After an unfortunate incident in front of her involving his height and a carnival ride, he makes a wish to be “big,” thinking that being an adult will solve all of his problems.
Vocal Range: Tenor (F#3 – F5) Dance: Dancer Young Josh’s best friend – supportive, street smart, and funny. He is the only one who knows what happens to Josh, and he does his best to help Josh navigate adulting while searching for a way back to his teenage self.
Vocal Range: Varied Dance: Dancer The ensemble will play various roles such as Josh’s school friends, kids in the toy store, and more.
