About the project: Based on the beloved holiday film, A Christmas Story: The Musical follows young Ralphie Parker and his quest for the perfect Christmas gift—a Red Ryder BB Gun. Filled with heartwarming moments, energetic dance numbers, memorable songs, and plenty of holiday cheer, this family-friendly musical is a festive favorite for performers and audiences alike. Additional info: * Please prepare a short song (16–32 bars) in the style of the show. * Bring a karaoke track of your music to sing for your audition. * Be prepared to participate in a dance audition. Please dress comfortably or in clothes you can move in. * There will be tap involved so please be prepared and bring your tap shoes if you can tap, there will be a second portion on your audition night for tap. * Please bring a current headshot and résumé if available. * CHILDREN MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 9 TO PARTICIPATE.
