"Nanyehi-The Story of Nancy Ward" Musical Needs a Girl

Seeking performers ages 7 to 12 for "Nanyehi – The Story of Nancy Ward" Musical. Please see the details below. About the project: “Nanyehi – The Story of Nancy Ward,” a historical musical celebrating a legendary 18th-century Cherokee peace advocate. The 2026 run marks the 14th production of the musical. Cherokee Nation citizen Cheyenne Gagner will return in the title role for her third year, starring alongside Tommy Cummings as Dragging Canoe. Special guest star Winnie Guess Perdue, a Cherokee Nation citizen recognized as one of five Cherokee women who changed the world, will return as Elder Nanyehi. Additional info: Vocal auditionees are requested to perform a cappella or bring their own accompaniment, while non-singing actors will read from the script and dancers will be taught a brief routine.
