Casting Kids and Teens for "Shrek" The Musical

Looking for non-equity actors ages 7+ for the upcoming production of “Shrek”. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: A small stipend will be paid based on opening night sales. About the project: SYNOPSIS: "Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek. Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek the Musical brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ear. Rehearsals will be on Sundays at 6 pm; Monday and Wednesdays at 7 pm. Occasional Thursdays when we get closer to opening. Performance Dates: October 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th. Auditions will be vocal auditions ONLY. Please sing a song from the show.
