About the project: Repentance is a powerful new drama by Joshua Owens that explores faith, family, and the weight of long-buried secrets. When a respected church family finds itself at a crossroads, old wounds resurface, and hidden truths threaten to unravel everything they have built. Set against the backdrop of the Black church, Repentance is a moving story of forgiveness, judgment, and the difficult path toward healing. Rate: Non-paid. Additional info: Seeking African-American actors for a public staged reading exploring faith, family, secrecy, and the cost of hidden truth within the black church. Date: July 18th.
