“Annie” The Musical Seeking Kids

Additional info: Performances Dec 11-20 Vocal audition: 16-32 cut from a song in the style of the show. Annie auditioners can choose to sing from the show or in the style of the show. Girls specifically auditioning for Annie should be prepared to sing Tomorrow or Maybe. Vocal auditions should be memorized and well prepared. Please include your own backing track. Sides: each auditioner will have the chance to do a cold read from the script. Please note that you MAY not get to read for a character of choice. Dance: Please be prepared to learn a short cut for a dance audition. Wear comfortable shoes or dance shoes. No flip flops, crocs, sandals, or bare feet. If you are interested, please apply.

Vocal Range/Part: Mezzo-Soprano (A3–D5) Description: A spunky, optimistic orphan with a big heart. Annie is determined to find her parents and never gives up hope despite her difficult circumstances. She is brave, independent, and naturally charismatic, often inspiring those around her. Production team is looking for the “Annie” personality to shine thru! Vocally should be able to master both Tomorrow and Maybe. Auditioners may choose to sing one of those songs at auditions
Vocal Range/Part: Various child ranges Description: A group of girls living in the orphanage. Each has a distinct personality—ranging from shy to tough—but they share a bond of friendship and resilience. They support Annie and bring energy and humor to the show.
Vocal Range/Part: Soprano Description: A hopeful young performer who sings about dreams of success. Represents ambition and the desire for a better future.
