About the project: Set in Salem, Massachusetts during the 1692 witch trials, The Crucible follows a community torn apart by fear, suspicion, and false accusations. When a group of young girls claims to be victims of witchcraft, hysteria spreads throughout the town, leading neighbors to turn against one another. Arthur Miller's powerful drama explores themes of integrity, justice, and the dangers of mass hysteria—issues that remain strikingly relevant today in an age of misinformation, public outrage, and the rapid spread of accusations.
