About the project: LOGLINE: Resurrection in the Field of Blood is a dark gothic horror epic that reimagines vampire mythology through the lens of faith, guilt, and redemption. Rather than a tale of romance or monstrous bloodlust, it is the tragic journey of a cursed immortal desperately seeking salvation—one soul at a time. SYNOPSIS: RESURRECTION IN THE FIELD OF BLOOD For over two thousand years, Judas Iscariot has walked the earth carrying the weight of the greatest betrayal in human history. After accepting thirty pieces of silver to betray Jesus of Nazareth, Judas believes death will free him from his shame. Instead, he awakens to a fate far worse than death. Condemned by God and unable to die, Judas is transformed into something neither fully human nor fully monster—a creature sustained by blood and cursed to wander the world until the end of time. As centuries pass, Lucifer appears before the broken apostle with an unexpected offer: guidance. Not out of kindness, but out of amusement. Lucifer teaches Judas how to survive, how to master the strange powers growing within him, and how to embrace the curse that God has placed upon him. Yet Judas refuses to become the ruthless predator Lucifer desires. Driven by guilt and the desperate hope that redemption may still be possible, Judas forges his own path. The start date is tentatively set for November 7th, but it has not yet been finalized. That will be decided once casting is complete.
