NILAFemale17-18 y.o.Indian/South Asian

LEAD. Tamil-American or South Asian. Scenes: All 10 scenes. She is in every scene of the film. Nila is funny, guarded, and deeply feeling — she performs being fine better than almost anyone, and the film is about what happens when that stops working. She needs to be able to carry silence, find humor in dark moments, and cry without indicating. This role requires a committed, emotionally available actor who can anchor a 20-minute film.
