About the project: The Addams Family is a delightfully dark musical comedy about the beloved gothic family facing a most unexpected nightmare: Wednesday Addams has fallen in love with a sweet, respectable young man from a perfectly ordinary family. When Wednesday invites her boyfriend, Lucas Beineke, and his parents to dinner with plans to announce their engagement, secrets are revealed, relationships are tested, and chaos erupts. As Gomez struggles to keep a promise to his daughter, Morticia senses something is wrong, and a truth serum unleashes startling confessions. With the help of the Addams ancestors and the ever-optimistic Uncle Fester, the families discover that love, loyalty, and acceptance can bridge even the widest of differences. This musical is filled with humor, heart, and the wonderfully macabre charm that has made the Addams Family a beloved classic.
