About the project: Project Synopsis: Nhang (Incense) follows Tien, a devoted but emotionally reserved parent whose grief takes her on a physical journey through past memories during a family đám giỗ (memorial ceremony). Rate: $150/day Non-Union Additional info: Shooting Dates: 2–3 days between July 31st and August 3rd, 2026 Location: Garden Grove, CA (Must be local to the OC/LA area) CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: All applicants must be able to speak short Vietnamese phrases. Nguyet wants to help his mom prepare a family remembrance ceremony, but while she's worried about doing everything "right," he's more interested in the stories behind the traditions. This role carries much of the film's humor, warmth, and emotional heart. Seeking a natural, expressive child actor who can bring sincerity, curiosity, and authenticity to the screen.
