Young Dancers Needed for "The B Word" Film

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking dancers ages 10-12 for "The B Word" Film. More details are below. About the project: 'The B Word' is a coming of age dramedy about a hardworking ballerina who has worked year after year to get on pointe, but must accept the fact that it's never going to happen. It is ultimately about reaching a point in life when you realize the dreams you've been pursuing need to shift. Childhood dreams might not come true, and that's okay. It's part of growing up. Inspired by Frances Ha, Pen15 and Black Swan. Rate: Non union. This is a volunteer position. However, directors will provide a meal, and the opportunity to gain on set experience/have tons of fun with some of the coolest women in the Vancouver indie film community! Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) Sunday, July 12. Shoot/Performance Location(s) Coquitlam. Submission deadline: Saturday, July 4, 2026.
