Kids and Teens Wanted For “Christmas Carole” Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Seeking kids and teens for “Christmas Carole” play. See the details below. About the project: Alhambra’s ‘Christmas Carole’ returns for its 30th run. Created exclusively for the Alhambra, with music and lyrics by Bruce Allen Scudder and script by Janie Nowell, it offers a humorous, lighter take on Dickens' classic story. It begins with Ebenezer Scrooge, a miser who hates Christmas, narrated by his cheerful nephew Fred through song, guiding the audience through ghostly visits. On Christmas Eve, Marley warns of a bleak future if Scrooge doesn’t change. The Ghost of Christmas Past shows his lost innocence, the Ghost of Christmas Present emphasizes generosity, and the Ghost of Christmas Future forewarns of a grim fate. After these visits, Scrooge awakens transformed, makes amends, and surprises Bob Cratchit with a feast. The show ends with a heartfelt tribute to the true meaning of Christmas.
