Rehearsal/Session dates: T/W/Th evenings (5 pm - 8 or 9 pm) July 22 - September 2 Tech: September 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 6 pm - 10 pm Shows: September 10, 11, 12 - Currently 4 shows with the option to expand to 6 No Tech or Show conflicts will be allowed Audition requirements: Initial auditions may be either video or in-person. Commanding, sure of herself, bold. She lights up the room. Think: Beyoncé with a little Jennifer Lopez performance flair. (Range: Ab3-Eb5)
Fun-loving, always up for a laugh. Never takes anything too seriously, but at the same time lives for the drama. Some have described her as a “chaos goblin.” Think: Lily Allen meets Avril Lavigne. Some productions also lean slightly toward modern alt-pop influences. (Range: C4-E5)
Kind and sincere. Loves a dad joke, but no one is ever impressed with Jane’s attempts at comedy. Think: Adele, Sia, and a touch of Celine Dion. (Range: A3-D5)
Savvy, loves her life, won history and no one even knows it. Cleves is here for a good time. Think: Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. This is the coolest queen in the room. (Range: G3-B4)
Super smart with a wicked sense of humor. Sweet exterior that reveals something much darker underneath. Bubble gum pop with a twist. Think: Ariana Grande with elements of Britney Spears. (Range: A3-F#5)
Grounded, thoughtful and warm. Loves the other queens. A champion of female empowerment. Think: Alicia Keys, with a sound similar to Emeli Sandé. (Range: A3-E5)
