About the project: With Music written by Alan Menken, Ahrens and Flaherty’s "A Christmas Carol" is a spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens’ most well-known story. Ebenezer Scrooge, a wealthy yet cold-hearted miser, cares little for anything beyond his own fortune, dismissing Christmas and all its goodwill with a bitter “Bah! Humbug!” His rigid world is shaken on Christmas Eve when he is visited by three ghostly spirits. Each one leads him on a powerful journey through his past, present, and future, revealing the consequences of his selfishness and the loneliness it has created. Awakening on Christmas morning with a renewed spirit, Scrooge joyfully embraces the holiday, determined to make amends and share love and generosity with those around him. Additional info: Please prepare a 32 bars of a song showing your range, bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided. Upon arrival, auditioning actors will fill out an audition form. Please bring a copy of your resume, headshot, and a list of Conflicts you may have during the rehearsal process. NO conflicts for tech week , everyone is required to attend each day.
