Teen Singers Needed for Brand New Musical

Casting Call: Actors Needed for New Musical About the Declaration of Independence. Auditions are open to actors 16+. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: Actors will be given stipends of $125 to help with transportation. About the project: Looking for 3 actors to complete a 6-member cast for a brand-new musical about the Declaration of Independence. This 45-minute show is a play within a play — think Pippin — bringing history to life in the spirit of Hamilton or 1776. The script combines words from the Declaration of Independence with dialogue spoken by an acting troupe as they rehearse the new musical. Additional info: The singing is simple and will be suited to each performer cast. Location: The Hermitage, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ Performance Date: August 1 Rehearsals: July Please Prepare: A memorized dramatic monologue, 1–2 minutes in length. Please Bring: A photo and resume.
