Seeking talent ages 16 and up for "You Will Find Out" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: A Tony Award-winning contemporary musical about a socially anxious high school student whose search for connection spirals into something much bigger. From the songwriting team behind The Greatest Showman and La La Land. Additional info: Prepare 16–32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre or pop song in the style of Pasek & Paul. If you are unsure what to sing, you may request materials from the show, and they will be sent to you. Callbacks by invitation only: Saturday, June 13th, 10 am Performance Dates: September 18 - October 3 Rehearsal Dates: Rehearsals begin July 12 and run 3 nights a week (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday) until September, when rehearsals ramp up. Guarded, intelligent, independent. Has a complicated relationship with her family. Slowly opens emotionally. Vocal: Contemporary soprano/mezzo (up to E5)
Edgy, volatile, unpredictable. Alternates between anger and vulnerability. Presence may be stylized depending on production. With that in mind, we are very open non-binary performers for this role. Vocal: Baritone/tenor (rock influence) (up to G#4)
Quick-witted, sarcastic, and opportunistic. Provides comic relief but reveals surprising depth. Vocal: Bari-tenor (up to B4)
Ambitious, driven, and eager to be involved. Intense and idealistic. Represents a strong external force in the story. Vocal: Strong contemporary singer (up to E5)
Students, community members, online voices. Strong movers preferred. Actors cast as ensemble will also be integrated in lyrical scene changes. Vocal: Must blend well in tight contemporary harmonies
