“The Pirates of Penzance” Play In Need Of Teens

About the project: “The Pirettes of Penzance” is a story of a young woman, Francine, who was inadvertently apprenticed to a band of soft-hearted pirates as a child. Having just come of age, she decides to leave the pirates and live an honest life. Driven by her sense of duty, Francine felt obligated to live up to her apprenticeship with the pirates. But now that it’s over, she feels it is her duty to destroy her former compatriots, even though she still cares for them like family. Additional info: Rehearsals will typically be held from 6:30pm-9:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Occasionally, Saturday rehearsals may be held from 9am-12:00pm. Rehearsals will generally be held in Lindon. Performance dates are Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm from September 14-26 (8 performances). Call time will be 6:00pm for performances. Performances will be at the Angelus Theatre in Spanish Fork. CALLBACKS: Callbacks are by invitation only. - Date: Saturday June 20th 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. - Preparations: Sides and Songs will be emailed to you by end of day on Thursday, June 18th. There will be dancing, so please where clothes you can move in. Please come prepared to dance, perform and work the scenes and songs you are assigned. You may also be given sides when you arrive.
