About the project: Overview: Deep in Skid Row, shy floral assistant Seymour Krelborn discovers a strange and mysterious plant after a total eclipse of the sun. Naming it Audrey II after his coworker crush, Seymour quickly learns the plant has an unusual appetite — human blood. As the plant grows, so does Seymour’s fame, fortune, and confidence, but Audrey II’s hunger soon spirals into something far more dangerous. Packed with dark comedy, unforgettable characters, doo-wop-inspired music, and outrageous horror fun, Little Shop of Horrors is a wildly entertaining musical about ambition, love, and the cost of feeding your dreams. Additional info: Performances run from Oct 2nd to Oct 25th, 2026. There are 15 performances (Th, Fri, Sat evenings, and Sun Matinees). All auditions by appointment only. Auditioners will be asked to read from sides and present a musical piece from the show. In addition, there will be movement as part of the audition; our choreographer will teach steps on-site. Strong Singer/Dancer One of the three streetwise Urchins who function as narrators and the heartbeat of the show. Stylish, energetic, and vocally dynamic with strong harmony skills. Urchin Trio Notes: Crystal, Ronnette, and Chiffon are featured heavily throughout the production and require exceptional harmonies, movement, personality, and comedic timing. They serve as a Greek chorus/commentary team guiding the audience through the story.
Strong Singer/Dancer A confident and soulful Urchin with excellent comedic instincts. Helps drive the storytelling and musical energy throughout the show. Urchin Trio Notes: Crystal, Ronnette, and Chiffon are featured heavily throughout the production and require exceptional harmonies, movement, personality, and comedic timing. They serve as a Greek chorus/commentary team guiding the audience through the story.
Strong Singer/Dancer The third member of the Urchin trio. Fun, sharp, and expressive with strong vocal harmony and movement abilities. Urchin Trio Notes: Crystal, Ronnette, and Chiffon are featured heavily throughout the production and require exceptional harmonies, movement, personality, and comedic timing. They serve as a Greek chorus/commentary team guiding the audience through the story.
The ensemble brings Skid Row to life and may include customers, street people, reporters, radio voices, winos, office workers, police, and additional featured moments throughout the production. Strong character actors, singers, movers, and comedic performers encouraged to audition.
