Additional info: Callbacks: Sat, Sept 12, 10 am-3 pm Rehearsals Begin: Mon, Sept 28 Rehearsals will mostly be Mondays-Fridays, 5:30-7:30 pm Nov 16-24, rehearsals will be 5:30-8:30 pm School Performances: December 3-4, 2026 Public Performances: December 4-6, 2026 - All auditionees are required to prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theater song. Actors should bring their own sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Singing from a music track or singing a cappella is discouraged. - Auditionees should choose a song that showcases vocal range and strong acting choices and is age-appropriate. - Memorizing your song is highly encouraged. - If you do not have a song, one will be provided at auditions. Songs are available one month before auditions at the Spartanburg Youth Theatre offices, in the kiosk at the end of the hallway when you walk down the stairs to our area. You may use one of these songs or one of your own choosing. - There will not be a dance call at auditions. Actors will not dance until callbacks (if called back). - Bring your schedule to fill out all of your potential rehearsal conflicts on the audition form—conflicts may NOT be added after casting!
