After losing his parents during the war and being displaced to the United States, Matvei struggles with grief, silence, and an overwhelming desire to find his way back home. Must be native in Ukrainian or Russian.
Ukrainian. Matvei’s older brother. Tough on the outside, charismatic, funny, and street-smart, Sasha grew up hustling with friends in Mariupol and dreamed of opening a car business one day. After losing his parents in the war and being displaced to the United States, he buries his trauma in work and constant movement.
