About the project: Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton with a screenplay by John August BIG FISH is a fantastical, heartwarming musical that follows the life of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman whose larger-than-life stories captivate everyone around him—especially his loving wife, Sandra. But their son, Will, about to become a father himself, is determined to uncover the truth behind his father’s epic tales. As Will embarks on a journey to understand the man behind the myth, BIG FISH explores the power of storytelling, family bonds, and the search for identity. Rate: Each performer will be paid per show, plus receive a gas stipend for rehearsals. Additional info: For more information, please see the attachment. Performance Dates: SEPT 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 25, 26 at the historic, Ideal Playhouse Rehearsals are typically two nights per week (MON & WED) and some Saturdays beginning the week of July 13th. Callbacks (by invitation only) will be either Saturday June 20 in the morning. Located on Main Street in Heber City, Utah. When applying, please send a video of yourself singing a song in the style of this show. Headshots and resumes are encouraged but not required.

Edward's devoted teenage sweetheart in Ashton. Jenny appears as a teenager, and as an adult in her sixties. As an adult, she becomes disillusioned and tired. She plays a crucial role in helping Will uncover the human reality of his father's stories. (Mezzo-Soprano E5 to G3)
