Matthew is going through that awkward pre-teen stage. He’s not as fluent in Spanish as kat and gets insecure about it. He’s the type of teen WHO is an all star on the soccer field and the class clown, but spends hours in the shower thinking about a better comeback for arguments he’s had forever ago.
She’s a sophomore in high school with really good grades but no confidence. She’s Alex Dumphy, who yearns to be Lorelai Gilmore. Kat seems shy at first, but once you give her the comfort to be herself, she doesn’t stop talking.
