Indie Horror Film — Casting Teen Talent

The wannabe jock who treats masculinity like a performance he can’t afford to fail. ryan’s loud, defensive, insensitive, and constantly trying to look tougher than he really is. the kind of guy who hides behind sports jerseys, gym obsession, and acting like nothing scares him. In reality, he’s deeply insecure, emotionally neglected, and terrified of being seen as weak. He comes off like an asshole even when he doesn’t mean to. but underneath all the “toughness” is a surprisingly gentle kid.

lily’s the instigator of the group. she’s warm, relaxed, curious, and disarmingly honest, lily has a habit of saying the exact thing everyone else was trying not to acknowledge. She’s emotionally perceptive to an unsettling degree, clocking tensions, insecurities, and relationships dynamics the second they shift. Unlike the rest, lily has no instinct for pretending things are fine, which makes her both unexpectedly funny and deeply destabilizing. she’s easy to talk to and genuinely kind.

Concerned for Tara constantly even if she brushes him off, he isn’t naive to her problems though, he’s honest to her that she’s destroying herself day by day.
