Looking for actors aged 10-12 years old for "The Buffer" project. Please see the details below. ONLY DC, VA, AND LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: THE BUFFER, a grant-supported dramatic pilot presentation/proof-of-concept project. After a gun jams during an attempted school-bus shooting in Prince George’s County, a disgraced journalist returns home and becomes entangled in the emotional aftermath surrounding a community already carrying more violence, grief, and silence than it can hold. Grounded, urgent, and deeply rooted in Prince George’s County, THE BUFFER explores survival, friendship, family, identity, and the corruption underneath the systems people are told to trust. Rate: Roles will be paid. Meals, credit, and footage will be provided. Additional details will be shared with selected actors during the audition process. Additional info: Filming in Prince George’s County & DMV Area. Summer 2026 Production. Grant-supported independent production. Non-Union & SAG actors welcome.
