"Shrek" Auditions for Teen Boys and Girls

Audition for "Shrek The Musical TYA". Seeking: Performers ages 16 and up. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. AdditionaRehearsal Dates: August 26th, 2026- September 9th, 2026 Typical Rehearsal Schedule: Mon/Tues 12- 4 pm, Thurs/Fri/Sat 4- 10 pm. Hours and days may shift slightly while working around our Mainstage production. Please list any and all relevant conflicts. Technical Rehearsal Dates: Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026- Monday, September 28th, 2026 Performance Dates: September 29th, 2026- October 25th, 2026 Typical Performance Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11:30 am, Saturdays at 1:00 pm Preparation: Please prepare a 16-32 bar cut of a selection in the style of the show. You may be asked to sing a second selection. Bring sheet music in the appropriate key as an accompanist will be provided. You may be asked to dance so bring or wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You may be asked to tap. Please bring tap shoes. Bring your headshot (8x10) and resume (should reflect dance or movement ability). Be prepared to read from the script or sing from the show, if asked. All ethnicities and gender identities are considered and strongly encouraged to audition. All roles are paid. Housing is not available for out-of-town actors. If interested, please apply.
