Casting Teen Actors for "Mean Girls" The Musical

Audition for the musical "Mean Girls"! Seeking performers ages 15+. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung. Additional info: Callbacks are Thursday, June 4, at 6 pm. Callbacks are invitation-only. Vocal Audition: Please prepare 16 bars or 30 to 60 seconds of a contemporary musical theater song. Please bring a karaoke track (without vocals). No sheet music and no a cappella auditions, please. Dance Audition: Please come dressed and be prepared to MOVE. If you are a tap dancer, please bring tap shoes.
