Seeking kids and teens for the "Fiddler on the Roof" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: "Fiddler On The Roof" is one of the world’s most iconic stage musicals. It combines laughter and sadness with a gorgeous score full of memorable songs and characters. Set in the Jewish enclave of Anatevka, it tells a heartwarming tale of changing times. Additional info: Depending on the turnout, you can plan on spending between 1 and 2 hours at the audition, which will include a group singing audition, a group movement audition – both required for all who are able – and individual singing/reading auditions for those interested in leading or featured roles. Everyone is invited to audition, and “emotional support guests” are welcome. Directors strive to maintain a professional environment. When you arrive for the audition, please be prepared with: Enough personal info to fill in the 1-page audition form with a few recent credits (you can easily do this when you arrive) Clothes you can move in and closed-toed shoes. An open and willing attitude to try what we ask you Those interested in leading and featured roles should also prepare: -32 bars of a song in the Broadway style -Sheet music for your song to give to the accompanist we provide (no a-capella or recorded accompaniment auditions, please.)
