About the project: "Nine" is a Tony Award-winning musical inspired by Federico Fellini’s 8½, filled with passion, romance, glamour, and unforgettable music. The story follows famed Italian film director Guido Contini as he navigates love, ambition, memory, and the many women who define his life. Featuring a lush score by Maury Yeston, Nine is seductive, emotional and unapologetically bold. Additional info: Performance dates: July 31-September 6, 2026 Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sunday matinees at 2pm Saturday matinees on August 22 and September 5 Auditioners should be prepared to: - Sing from the score – a piece will be taught at auditions. Additional selections may be learned based on consideration of character. Sides will be available soon. - Dance – a routine will be taught at auditions. Options for both “movers” and “dancers” will be available. Please wear clothes and shoes that allow for full range of movement. - Read from the script – auditioners will do cold readings from the script. You will enter through the main entrance of the theatre to sign in The main entrance doors will open at 6:30 p.m. prior to the 7 p.m. audition. Please arrive with enough time to fill out an application. You are only required at one evening of auditions, but welcome to join both nights.
