ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Seeking teens for "John Proctor Is The Villain" play. See the details below. About the project: At a high school in a one-stoplight town in Georgia, an English class is studying “The Crucible” but the students are more preoccupied with navigating young love, sex ed, and a few school scandals. As the students delve into the American classic, they begin to question the play’s perspective and the validity of naming John Proctor the show’s hero. Rate: SPT $565 weekly minimum (SPT 5) - increasing to $582 on 01/04/27. Additional info: Callbacks are scheduled for Fri, May 29th from 2 PM to 7 PM at the Arsht Center. Please prepare 2 contrasting contemporary monologues reflecting range, language, and vulnerability. If auditioning for the musical, please additionally prepare a 32-bar cut of a standard, music theater, or pop song. Please bring two copies of your headshot/resume. Each candidate will have 5 minutes. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.
