"The Prom" Musical Looking For Teens

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Seeking teens for "The Prom" musical. See the details below. About the project: Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue… and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to make a difference, the Broadway stars team up with the courageous student, leading to a transformation that brings everyone together in the name of love and acceptance. Additional info: The staff asks that you prepare a 32-bar cut from a contemporary musical that is not from the show as well as a dance combination. You can either bring sheet music with you or provide a karaoke track. Callbacks, if needed, will take place May 30th starting at 2:00 PM. Rehearsals will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6-9 PM and Sundays from 2-5 PM starting in late June/early July. For more information, please see the attachment.
