About the project: The story follows Evan Goldman as he is uprooted from his fast-paced life in New York City and moved to a small Indiana town. Facing a new school and a looming Bar Mitzvah, Evan must navigate the complex social hierarchy of middle school—dealing with jocks, cheerleaders, and outcasts alike—to find where he truly fits in. Additional info: Performers should prepare approximately one minute of a song in the style of the show. Please bring: Sheet Music: Clearly marked for the provided accompanist (no a cappella). Materials: A current resume and headshot. Attire: Comfortable clothing for a potential dance call. Actors may also be asked to read scenes from the script, which will be provided on-site. Callbacks: Thursday, May 15 (by invitation only). Rehearsals: Begin Monday, May 18. Performances: July 10–19. Please prepare about 1 minute of a song of your choice in the style of the show. The prettiest and most popular girl in school. She has a major crush on Brett, and they are an on-and-off couple. The bubbly, popular, head cheerleader. Lucy's best friend and unknowing rival. Kendra is good at heart, but she is naive and very impressionable. Kendra struggles with the pressures of popularity.

(Swings) - Will be casting a strict 4-person ensemble for this show. These will be the main tracks that you will perform. Because this show is a heavy lift for such young performers, each ensemble member will be responsible for understudying at least 3 of the named roles in the show. This will only be utilized in the event of a cast member getting sick or needing to miss the show for unforeseen reasons.
