About the project: Seeking children for a powerful scene in the 'Lynchburg At War" documentary film, recreating the 1863 funeral procession of Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson in Lynchburg. Recreate the funeral procession of Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson in Lynchburg- a day when an entire community paused in collective grief. Jackson’s death in May 1863 marked a profound turning point for the Confederacy. His loss was deeply felt across the South, and in Lynchburg, thousands gathered to mourn, lining the streets in a solemn, unified tribute. This was more than a funeral; it was a moment that shifted morale, identity, and the course of the war. Rate: Unpaid. Film credit included. Additional info: Location: Lynchburg, VA.
