About the project: Based on the classic young-adult science fiction novel, A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle, this play tells the story of one of literature’s most enduring young heroines. Mr. Murray has disappeared, so his daughter, Meg, finds herself joining forces with an unlikely group of adventurers to battle the forces of evil, rescue her father, save humanity, and find herself. While it doesn’t come easy, in the end, Love does overcome evil. Additional info: It will rehearse primarily Monday - Thursday evenings, with some weekend afternoons as needed. The show runs on Fridays - Sundays for two weekends, July 17 - 26. Auditioners should come prepared for improv warm-ups followed by cold reads with other auditioners. No singing or memorization will be required, but it is recommended that auditioners are familiar with the story and its characters and themes.
