About the project: A fictional screenplay based on true events, PIONEER follows the five-decade journey of DJ Tony Crush. The story centers on his discovery of hip-hop in the 1970s Bronx and his subsequent long-term legal and documentary battle to reclaim his stolen legacy and tapes from exploitative institutions. Rate: $30 plus meal included.
