Kids and Teens Needed for "Seussical Musical

Students in grades 5 and up are invited to audition for "Seussical Musical. Please see the details below. Additional info: Research the show, listen to the original cast recording, and then make your audition unique with your own characterization - facial expressions, movement, and delivery. SING: Choose the character you are most interested in portraying and prepare the provided song that is attached for that character. Prepare to sing the entire song with the instrumental track that directors provide, but it is possible that they may stop you after one verse and a chorus. ACT: This musical is almost entirely sung-through, but there are some moments of straight dialogue. Directors will have a selection from the script for you to read during the audition. ENTRANCE: At MCHS (Door 14), you will be greeted by the friendly volunteers! You will then fill out some audition paperwork. PERFORM: When it is your time to shine, your audition will be performed in front of the creative team the director, music director, and choreographer. REHEARSALS: 2-3 Days Weekly & Some Saturdays.
