"Ragtime" The Musical Seeks Kids

Additional info: Please prepare the following: - A short one minute monologue OR read a side from the script found in the attachment. - A 32 bar/60 second cut in the style of early, golden-age or early-jazz influence musical theatre or a similar non-musical theatre genre (pre-1960). Prioritize storytelling, clear text, and stylistic flexibility over sheer vocal power. Example shows: Anything Goes Annie Get Your Gun Porgy and Bess Oklahoma Showboat Tracks are completely acceptable if the auditionee cannot provide sheet music. In addition to signing up for an audition slot, all auditionees should also plan on attending the dance call on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 5:00pm as part of your audition process. Please wear comfortable clothing that will not inhibit your movement (no jeans, please). Jewelry such as long earrings or necklaces should not be worn.
