Additional info: Callbacks: Sat, May 23, 10 am-2 pm Rehearsals Begin: Mon, Aug 10, 2026 Rehearsals will mostly be Mondays-Fridays, 5:30-7:30 pm Sept 28-Oct 2, rehearsals will be 5:30-8:30 pm School Performances: October 8 & 9, 2026 Public Performances: October 10 & 11, 2026 (no Friday public show) All auditionees are required to prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theater song. Actors should bring their own sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Singing from a music track or singing a cappella is discouraged. Auditionees should choose a song that showcases their vocal range and strong acting choices and is age-appropriate. Memorization of your song is highly encouraged. If you do not have a song, one will be provided for you at auditions. You may use one of these songs or choose your own. There will not be a dance call at auditions. A soulful wolf with a rumpled suit and a toothygrin. Beneath the gruff image is a love for gourmet cooking and the fine arts. He’s a charmer (perhaps a con artist?), but still a carnivore to the core: tough, strong, and territorial. The role is written for a male vocal range, however a female may be considered for the role.
A fast-talking, inquisitive reporter pig. A tough sow in a hog’s world, seeker of truth and justice, and the audience’s best friend in their hunt for the full story
A thoroughly biased, hard-as-nails, utterlycorrupt cog in the wheel of what passes for justice in Piggsylvania. Her chief weakness is a love of musical theatre.
A dramatic, over-the-top firebrand of a lawyer pig, prone to speechifying. She will do or say anything to win a case, no matter how low or manipulative.
A clever pig, geeky and unassuming; a fancier of masonry and construction.
A handsome, dashing doctor pig; a paid “expert” for the prosecution.
A matronly pig with poor eyesight who becomes an unwilling witness to horrific acts of carnivorism…so she says…
A big ’n’ brutish civil-servant pig. Rocky keeps the trial moving along and participates inJudge Prudence and Julia’s razzle dazzle musical numbers.
The piggy ensemble will serve as the attendees at the trial and the townspeople. They will be on stage for the majority of the show and participate in most of the major musical numbers.
