About the project: Trojan Women by Euripides is a powerful Greek tragedy detailing the suffering of Troy’s royal women—Hecuba, Andromache, and Cassandra—after their city falls to the Greeks. As they are assigned as slaves to Greek leaders, they endure the murder of their children and the burning of their city, ultimately presenting a harsh critique of war's cruelty. Additional info: Show dates and time: July 23 @ 7:30pm July 24 @ 7:30pm July 25 @ 2pm & 7:30pm Tech week: July 19th - 22nd Rehearsals: Most rehearsals will be 7-9 pm, Monday through Thursday, unless otherwise stated. Everyone will not be called for all rehearsals. What to wear: Clothes easy to move in/closed-toe shoes What to expect at auditions: Please be prepared for cold reads that will consist of group/pair readings. You may be asked to read specific characters and be filmed for the director's purpose. Please also be prepared for a small movement/ stage fight portion of the auditions.
