About the project: "Matilda" the Musical is a captivating show about a brilliant, telekinetic girl named Matilda Wormwood who uses her sharp wit and imagination to overcome her cruel parents and the tyrannical headmistress, Miss Trunchbull. Supported by her kind teacher, Miss Honey, Matilda takes a stand against injustice, empowering her classmates to fight back, change their own destinies, and find a loving home. Likable and charismatic, not annoying or pretentious. Honest and unassuming, but with a prankster streak and a strong sense of justice. Must be a very strong singer and actress, equally. Strong dancing skills preferred but not required.
