About the project: Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way. Additional info: Performance Dates: Saturday, July 11 at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 12 at 7 p.m. Schedule 12:15-1:15 p.m. CT - Regular Rehearsals - Begin Tuesday, May 26 Rehearsals are held Monday through Thursday. Rehearsals will last 1 hour unless otherwise stated. Cast members are required to use their scripts and other resources to practice and memorize lines and music at home. Show Week Schedule Dress Rehearsals: 7-9 p.m. CT - July 6-9 (or later as needed). Specific "call times" will be announced based on costume and makeup needs. If you are interested, please apply.
