Teens Needed for "The Addams Family" Musical
Seeking performers ages 13-18 years old for "The Addams Family" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. Additional info: Please choose a one minute cut from a song in the style of the show and bring sheet music for the accompanist. You will not be allowed to sing a cappello or with a track. You must be prepared to speak to the pianist. Rehearsals: Saturdays; July 11 - October 17 Tech/Dress Rehearsals: October 5-12 Three days of tech per cast Shows: October 13-18 Show Dates: October 13-18 All students wishing to participate in a production must be able to commit to the majority of rehearsals, ALL tech/dress rehearsals, and ALL shows. Conflicts with tech rehearsals and shows are not permitted. Any student with excessive absences will have roles reassigned, and may be dismissed from the production without a tuition refund.
