Seeking Girls for "Annie" Show

Girs ages 6 - 14 are invited to audition for "Annie" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Annie is a beloved classic musical set in New York City during the Great Depression. Eleven-year-old Annie is a spirited, irrepressibly optimistic orphan living under the iron fist of the hard-drinking, cruel Miss Hannigan at a Manhattan orphanage. When billionaire Oliver Warbucks selects Annie for a publicity stunt, inviting an orphan to spend the holidays at his mansion, an unlikely bond forms between the two. Meanwhile, a pair of con artists posing as Annie's long-lost parents scheme to collect a reward, and Miss Hannigan's brother Rooster is never far behind. With an iconic score by Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, featuring numbers like "Tomorrow," "It's the Hard-Knock Life," and "Maybe," Annie is an enduring celebration of resilience, chosen family, and the stubborn belief that the sun will, in fact, come out tomorrow. Rate: If cast, all Young Performers will receive a stipend for their participation. Additional info: Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Rehearsals are generally held Tuesday through Friday, 6 - 9:30 p.m., on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and/or Sundays from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m.—depending on actor conflicts and availability. Please note that Young Performers will be asked to stay later during tech and dress rehearsals. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be provided after casting is complete.
