"Young Frankenstein" Play Looking For Teens

About the project: Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Fronk-en-steen") inherits his family's estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor (pronounced "Eye-gore"), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced normally), Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. "It's alive!" he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather's. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds. Additional info: Auditionees who are interested in being considered for YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN should prepare a 32-bar cut (about 1 minute) of a musical theatre song. Legible sheet music must be provided for the audition pianist. No a cappella or prerecorded accompaniment will be permitted. Additionally, folks who are called back will participate in a movement audition and read/sing (if applicable) from the show. Callbacks will be the evening of May 6th by invitation only.
