Singing Audition for "Randi & Roxanne" Play

Auditions open for singing roles in "Randi & Roxanne". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Rehearsal – Oct. 7th – Nov. 11th (Time TBD) Tech & Dress Rehearsals – Nov. 12th – 17th Performances – Nov. 18th – 22nd Photo Call – Nov. 21st What to prepare? *If you are auditioning for all shows and/or are an MT major, you should prepare 1 song cut of approximately 32 bars and a 45-second monologue. You will have a total of 1 minute and 30 seconds to complete your audition. Please print your cut of music and arrange it in a way that makes it easy for the accompanist to play from it (unless you are singing a pre-arranged cut from Godspell–see Notes on Material Choice). The directors do not accommodate digital accompaniment. *If you are NOT auditioning for Godspell, please prepare 2 contrasting monologues, each about 45 seconds in length. You will have a total of 1 minute and 30 seconds to complete your audition. Remember, you are not required to attend the General Dance Call if you are NOT auditioning for Godspell. Slating: Please note that you are only required to slate your name at the beginning of your audition. You do not have to give the name of the play or character from which your material is sourced. The timer will start after you slate your name. If you go over your allotted 1 min, 30 second time limit, you will be cut off with a “Thank you!” by the stage manager. If this happens and you are still performing your material, you are expected to stop and give the stage to the next auditionee, regardless of how close you are to the end of your material.
